Compac surfaces are coming into the market of “Sea Resort »

The EUROPA 2 by Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, the first cruise ship to use COMPAC technological marble for its interiors, will arrive to Lisbon next may 25th. The company Hapag-Lloyd Cruises christened it on May 10th in Hamburg which sailed the next day. The colour PANAMA of COMPAC technological marble dresses the bathrooms and mini bars in the rooms, suites and penthouses already the newest cruise ship in Europe and one of the most spacious with 251 rooms in various categories. The French shipyard STX, in charge of construction of the ship, had chosen the COMPAC technological marble because it’s less thick than natural stone, so it reduces the overall weight of the cruise ship and improves the energy efficiency of the ship. With the use of our product and other novel materials STX has reduced the overall weight of the cruise ship and save fuel costs considerably. COMPAC technological marble improves the properties of natural stone in strength, hardness, flexibility and waterproofing without losing the ability luxury decorative high, especially because maintaining uniformity of tones that make it imperative for the latest designs.
